c. 1956 UPA cartoon, originally a segment of the Boing Boing Show "Dry" test scan of a 16mm LPP (low-fade) print from the mid-80s. Colour and cropping not final. My life is a lie. Print is unusually jumpy through my projector, even after lubricating it. This will have to do unless someone desperately wants to bankroll a digital transfer.

Hasty wall shoot of a recently acquired Super 8mm Viacom print that appears to printed slightly out of focus and has bizzaro music over a scene cut from the Viacom TV master of this cartoon. (Also noticed my projector is running a little too fast when I recorded this whoops)

Pure genius.

Bizarre clashing designs abound with cutesy Campbell Soup fairies and dopey-nosed ugly-faced peasants. And jitterbugging. Crappy transfer but you get the idea... *insert obligatory un-PC imagery warning here*

Might as well dispel Wikipedia speculation. Sorry wall-shoot is darker (and quieter) than how the print actually looks and sounds.

Could have sworn the original titles for this cartoon was up online somewhere from a VHS source. In lieu of that, here's a hasty wall shoot of a low-fade AGFA (1S) Super 8 print distributed by Derann in the 90s. Have left most of the leaders intact for your film geeking pleasure.
